Anxiety Therapy San Marcos
Treating Adult Anxiety in San Diego North County
Beyond Talk Therapy in San Marcos, CA
You don’t want to talk about what you’re feeling. Talking in the past just stirred you up inside.
But You Can’t Keep Doing What You’ve Been Doing
Lately, you’ve been considering therapy again because you’re worried about everything, feeling overwhelmed, and it’s hurting your relationships.
You hold it together all day, then unravel. Your tense body struggles to relax. The energy to enjoy a hobby or simply have fun evades you.
Other people seem to effortlessly move through life, without a care in the world. While you’re continually tangled up in worries, and endless to-do lists.
It wasn’t always this way. You remember feeling more carefree and relaxed before marriage, and the kids. You just have no idea how to get back to that place, and part of you wonders if it is even possible.
You’re Not Meant to Do This Alone
My name is Tami. I am a therapist in San Marcos, CA and I help stressed adults creatively shift their anxiety.
Whether you’re stuck in perfectionism at home or work or feeling burned out by marriage and parenthood, I can help you sidestep all the talking. The place where you get stuck.
Let’s Get You Unstuck and Feeling Better
I use a combination of talk therapy and art therapy interventions to help you feel more “in control” as you address your emotions. You'll access more of your own creative problem-solving. And no, none of this requires you to be artistic, creative, or have any "skill" at all.
Over the years, clients have shared how I helped them feel at ease from the very beginning of therapy. How they felt more hopeful and less burdened.
In therapy, I can help you gently but actively work toward accepting yourself, what you feel, and how to cope with what you feel. You can learn to let go of worries. My hope is you’ll also gain more energy for the things you love through the creative expression process.
You’ve Been Stuck So Long- It’s Time for Healing
Are you ready to be unbound and live more freely? Are you curious about how Art Therapy may help shift things for you in a way that talk therapy alone has not?
